Dopo circa due mesi il problema degli strappi di carburazione è ancora aperto e insoluto e diventa sempre più fastidioso. Noto che accade più spesso quando c'è meno di metà serbatoio. Un giorno, di domenica, la 90 mi lascia per strada dopo aver zoppicato per qualche chilometro, ad un tratto non ce la fa più di "tossire" e si spegne. Dopo 20 minuti posso ripartire e riportarla da solo a casa anche se a non più di 30 Km/h, di seconda e solo con un filo di acceleratore. Se spingo un pò di più si ingolfa e si spegne.
Dopo aver cambiato alcuni cavi elettrici molto consumati, aver pulito due volte il serbatoio e chiesto consigli agli amici del Club Alfa Sport la soluzione viene trovata: il serbatoio rilascia piccoli pezzi di impurità di vario tipo (non è arrugginito) e questi, specialmente quando la benzina non è molta, vengono spinti più facilmente fino ai filtrini dei carburatori, otturandoli in parte e facendo singhiozzare la vettura!
La soluzione migliore sarebbe di cambiare il serbatoio con uno plastico compatibile ma per la 90 non ne trovo: potrei comprarne uno di metallo nuovo (o meglio mai usato, chissà quanti anni avrebbero) ma il problema si riproporrebbe dopo qualche anno, giacché la 90 non verebbero usata molto. Alla fine opto per una soluzione semplice come due filtri benzina in serie ma lontani tra loro, uno a maglie larghe prima della pompa benzina, vicinissimo al serbatoio, l'altro proprio prima che il carburante si immemmetta nei carburatori. I filtri sono di dimensioni e filtraggio diversi e il più importante dei due è quello anteriore. Si può controllare a occhio se è pulito, si pulisce facilmente in pochi minuti e, ultimo ma non meno importante, è facile da reperire ed economico (meno di 10 euro).

After two months the problem of the momentary missing of fuel still was open, unsolved it was becoming more and more bothersome. I noticed that it happened much more with less than half tank of fuel. One day, it was Sunday, my 90 left me and after few Km of "cough"... simply turned it self off. After 20 minutes I can continue and bring it back home at just 30 Km/h with the second gear and just a drop of throttle.
In the end, after changing some weakened electric cables, washing two times the fuel tank and asking on Alfa Sport forum we have the solution: the tank loses small pieces of material and these, when the level of fuel is not high, easily fill the "small filters" of the carburators up to partly block the flows!
The best solution was to change the tank but I didn't find a plastic version of the tank it self: we can buy a new metal tank, as the original one, but the problem should appear again after some year, especially because the car will not be used every day. So we opt for two different filters, the former exactly before the fuel pump, the latter before the fuel is splitted in the carburators. The filters are different for size and filtering power and most important of the two is the one under the front bonnet, before the carburators. You can easily watch if is clear or not, you can clean it in just a few minutes and, not so stupid as advantage, is definitely easy to collect and cheap to buy (less than 10 euro).
